Biography

Meagan Masti is a visionary with over a decade of marketing and design experience. Most recently she demonstrated her creative and strategic leadership abilities while serving as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Maria College in Albany, NY. Over the past year, Meagan was instrumental in the rebranding of the College which included research, creative development, a new commercial, the College’s first mascot, and a website redesign. In February 2023, the College introduced the new brand ‘Transforming CAREers’ to the general public with a pre-game Super Bowl commercial spot followed by a boots-on-the-ground initiative for Random Acts of Kindness Day spearheaded by Meagan. 

 

Meagan Masti has an innate passion for inspiring the next generation of students which led her to pursue her Master’s Degree in Art Education from Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating with an outstanding academic achievement award in education, Meagan chose to professionally pursue her creative passions because of her desire to bring real-life experience to the classroom. 

 

From that point on, Meagan continued to focus on her personal and professional development and took a position working with a venture capitalist to learn how to build a business from the ground up. After moving back to the Capital Region, Meagan accepted a position at Maria College and worked her way from a part-time graphic designer, while freelancing on the side, to AVP of Marketing and Communication through self-motivated learning and continued professional advancement. In July 2022, Meagan completed a Management Essentials certificate from Harvard Business School Online, learning skills such as critical decision-making, developing a process perspective, and managing and leading change.

 

As a manager, Meagan Masti has fostered a performance-driven environment, focused on each team member’s individual strengths, which has resulted in winning multiple awards. In 2020, Meagan’s team came in first place for the Capital Region MarCom Awards for their “Find Your Course. Find Your Future.” campaign, and in 2022, they were a finalist for their “Be a Maria Nurse” campaign.

 

As Chief Operating Officer for Career Jam, Meagan Masti is excited to bring a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, management, collaboration, and creativity as the company looks to grow nationally while maintaining a positive, forward-thinking work culture. The company’s vision to empower students to imagine their future aligns with Meagan’s personal values and passions as well as her educational and professional experience.

 

Meagan Masti is a mom of two beautiful girls, Layla and Calia, and considers motherhood to be the most rewarding work of all. She lives with her husband Alex in Burnt Hills, NY and they love being actively involved in the community.
